What are your price ranges?

Regular collections range from $1,200-$3,000. Custom designs start at $2,300-$3,000, dependent upon design details. We have a number of sample gowns in stock that are for sale off the rack at a discounted price.

How does your boutique choose your collections and what designers do you carry?

We look for fashion forward styles showcasing current and upcoming trends to satisfy brides searching for an up-to-the minute, quality gown. Since our background is in design and couture craftsmanship, we have a keen eye for quality and we pay close attention to the fabric and workmanship in the designers we carry. You can rest assured in the quality of the gown you purchase. We work with designers who have exemplary customer service and reputation. Our customer is their customer, and we need to know we can count on them in every respect. Our collections change from time to time, so please contact us if you are looking for a specific designer.

When should I begin looking for my gown?

We encourage our brides to start looking for their wedding gowns about one year in advance before their wedding date.  Many brides leave our store with their gown straight off the rack, however, if their gown is to be ordered we recommend they place their order with us as soon as they have made their decision.

How long will it take to get my gown once I place my order?

The average ordering time for a wedding gown is normally between 4-6. Some of our designers can accommodate a 2-4 week order time where necessary.

When should I expect to pick up my gown that I’ve ordered?

Once the gown arrives at our shop, we schedule the bride for her first fitting.  If alterations to the gown are needed, the bride should allow 1-4 weeks.

Do you do alterations?

Yes, we’re pleased to offer our specialist, in-house, alterations service to all brides, wherever they purchased their gown.  Please call to schedule an appointment for your fitting.

Are there any tips for storing my bridal gown until the big day?

We recommend that the bride stores her gown inside a garment bag away from direct sunlight, heat, damp etc.  She should inspect her gown closer to her wedding day to determine if it needs pressing or steaming.  We charge a small fee for this service.

Who should I bring with me to my appointment?

We welcome all guests wishing to accompany you to your appointment,  the more the merrier!  We would appreciate knowing the number of guests coming in advance, so we can arrange seating.

What should I bring with me to the appointment?

You may find it helpful to bring your own undergarments such as a strapless bra or Spanx shapewear.  You may also want to bring a pair of shoes to try on with the gown.

If my mind is set on one style, should I  try on something from a different style?

It's best that the bride comes into the appointment with an open mind.  When the bride presents for her appointment, she will be given a short questionnaire to complete which will give our sales team an idea about her preferences for her wedding gown.  Often is the case that a bride ends up buying a style that is different from what she originally had in mind.

Is there an ideal number of gowns a bride should try on before picking the one?

We will assist the bride in selecting approximately 4-5 gowns to try on initially,, adding more gowns as we become more familiar with the styles she is focusing in on.

Do you have any advice for determining which gown is the One?

Our bridal consultant will guide the bride to her final decision by discussing things she likes about each gown.  Ultimately, she will narrow down her choices and focus on favorites.

Is there something a bride should feel when trying on the gown she ultimately chooses?

Every bride is different of course.  Some brides may become tearful, others feel goose bumps, and then there are ones that  go very quiet.  The bride usually requests to be placed back into her favorite gown for a final look before she makes her decision.

Do you have informal gowns suitable for a beach or second wedding?

Absolutely! Our gowns range from simple and informal to intricate and beaded.  Come in and browse our collections or call for an appointment and let us put our expertise to work for you.

I’d like my wedding gown to be a design that no one else has.  Is that possible?

It is possible for you to have a gown that no one else has, since all our designers customize their gowns. Just talk to us during your appointment and we’ll work our magic!

I’ve tried a gown in your store that I’ve also found new, online for a much lower price. What should I do?

None of our designers make their gowns available for online purchase, so unless it is a used, pre-owned gown, it is most likely a counterfeit. Our designers spend hundreds of hours creating patterns for their gowns, and assembling the luscious fabrics and embellishments needed to create the gown you have tried in our store. We adhere to their pricing policies – we know what it takes to create a gown of these standards. Remember also to factor in the higher cost of alterations on a lower quality gown.

I’m a full figured woman – do you carry plus sizes?

Yes, we have an excellent choice of plus size gowns in our store.  We can order a gown outside of sizes we have to try on, and also with custom measurements when needed. Please contact us for further information when making your appointment.

I’m just in town for a few days, but I love the gown you have in the window and I’d like to order it.  Could you ship it to me when it comes in?

Yes, let us know, and we will ship it to you.

Do your gowns ever get discontinued?

Yes, they do sometimes get discontinued with little or no notice.

Do you carry bridesmaid dresses?

No, not at this time.

Do you carry flower girl dresses?

Yes, we have a selection of flower girl dresses from Patricia Bee, Sorbello Couture, and Nova.

Do you carry mother of the bride dresses?

Yes, at Sealed With A Kiss we offer Mother of the Bride Dresses from Jasmine Bridal.

I need a slip.  Do you sell those?

Absolutely!   We also sell veils, headpieces, belts and sashes..

And once the wedding is over,  how do you recommend I clean my gown?
